In order to serve the residents of the Groman area and to make their daily life easier, the Municipality of Alimos is installing and operating a Free Controlled Parking System for the residents of the area.

More specifically, car parking spaces in the area have been marked in blue. From now on, these spaces may be used only by vehicles belonging to residents of the area. Resident status is proven with the Parking Card, which our Municipality issues free of charge.

In spaces without blue markings, both residents of the area and visitors (e.g. customers and staff of local shops and companies, and so on) may park, always free of charge.

In this way, residents of the Groman area can park wherever they wish, exactly as they do today, while visitors to the area are now limited to the spots without blue markings.

INSTRUCTIONS

for obtaining the free “Parking Card”

To obtain the card you must live in the Groman area
(bounded by Poseidonos and Eleftherias Avenues and Ellis Street).

  1. Go to the website of the Municipality of Alimos, https://alimos.gov.gr/
  2. In the “Popular” section, click the “DIGITAL SERVICES” box and enter the Municipality’s digital services

a. log in to the application with your personal TaxisNet credentials.

b. from the list of application types select “Application for a residents’ exclusive parking card” and click “Submit Application”

c. complete the required fields: Surname, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Tax Registration Number (AFM), Social Security Number (AMKA), Vehicle Registration Number

d. upload the required supporting documents: a copy of your ID card, a utility bill or tax assessment notice or lease agreement, a solemn declaration confirming permanent residence, the vehicle registration certificate and the vehicle registration number
