Georgios Makarigakis
I was born in 1969 and grew up in Nea Smyrni. I have lived in Alimos since 1985 and have run a transport company for 26 years. I am married and the father of two children.
This is the second time I have taken part in the municipal elections in Alimos. Although I had not been elected as a city councillor, I was active in the movements of our city.
My interest in community affairs has focused on the parents’ movement.
In 2014 I was elected a member of the Parents’ Association of the 6th Primary School of Alimos. For the following four years I served as General Secretary, Vice-President and President of the association.
Through my participation in these boards, I consider it an honour to have been chosen by Mayor Andreas Kondylis to contribute, through my daily presence, to decisions on upgrading the infrastructure of residents’ everyday life.
Over the past five years, as a member of the municipal group “I Love Alimos”, I have been elected:
2017 – 2019: Member of the Board of THOPAA
2018 – 2019: Member of the school committee on the Boards of Primary and Secondary Education.
With the experience of the past five years and the willingness to serve our city, it would be an honour to continue this work with love and dedication for Alimos. I care about our municipality and I can contribute to a better quality of life.
