She was born and raised in Constantinople (Istanbul). At the age of 12 she moved to Alimos with her family. She graduated from the Thoukydideio Junior High and High School of Alimos and then studied Computer Science, while also attending a series of seminars in business administration (finance, marketing, sales, public relations and more).

From a young age until today she has worked continuously in senior positions at large private IT companies (Singular, Altec, Cosmos Business Systems). Her long career in positions of responsibility and her handling of demanding relationships inside and outside the company have developed her ability to meet her obligations under pressure, to keep to strict deadlines, to focus on the goal and the result, to guide her colleagues and to work harmoniously but dynamically in teams.

She is active in the Parents’ Association of the 1st Primary School of Alimos, in the Thoukydideio Gymnastics Club and in the Primary Education School Committee, where she works to make the arts and sport part of pupils’ education.

She is also a member of the digital economy committee of SEPE (the Federation of Hellenic Information Technology & Communications Enterprises).

She is married to Dimitris Pagourtzis and they have two children, Melina and Angelos, aged 11 and 9.
